Web dev in linux is just a pleasure for expert developers. I guess experts could just grab any editor of choice like kedit, kate and start coding. However for learners... ? Although I'm not a beginner, I intended to find a nice web dev suit / editor for one of my web dev project. Tried few of quite often annotated in the web -
1. Bluefish - No WYSWING, not pretty interface
2. Komposer - Good WYSWING, complete package, not pretty interface!
3. NVU - failed to install, tried rpm and tar files. wont just work in fc8
4. Quanta - no WYSWING, not user freindly
So planning to get back to my good old Dreamweaver! Hopefully I can run it through wine!
